| | CHAOS RULES AND NOTES!!
Some rules for the first Chaos server to help you plan:
1. Mainlands only. No expansions except Construction will work. If you are found abusing expansion content you will be removed from this season of Chaos. Please report any bugs related to expansions.
2. Level cap of 100 (Valinor level cap is 15 player levels/20 skill levels)
3. VIP members can use VIP soulstones and auto backpack fill. No experience advantage over non subscribers.No shared bank on Chaos.
4. Speed is fixed (higher than live base speed). No speed adjust items will work.
5. Many higher level and speed adjust spells have been disabled: Ensnare, Twisting roots, Hungry vines, Claw of the bear, Disruption, Paralyze, Insanity, Claw of Warg, Claw of Wolf, Claw of werewolf, Blessing of Arna, Raise the Dead, Call of the Gods, Resurrect, Enchant Leather.
6. PVP Rules:
= Safe/no drop zones are on (same as live server zoning)
= Stolen items can be banked
= Full backpack drop on death
= Alignment rules as follows (Crusader / Divine / Good / Neutral / Evil / Crim / Scourge)
= Chance to drop equip: 25%, 35%, 45%, 50%, 60%, 75%, 90%, 100%
= Wanted timers are: 10 sec, 15 sec, 15 sec, 30 sec, 60 sec, 120 sec, 180 sec
= Alignment loss upon going wanted (temp): 1000
= 30 sec loot timer for killer to loot a corpse
= 2 min loot timer for anyone to loot a corpse
7. User interaction will not be regulated by GMs with exception of harrassment or anything that can be deemed as hate speech regarding race, religion, ethnicity, sexuality.
8. Bug abuse will result in a 3 day kick from Chaos on first offense, and a permanent removal from this season of Chaos on second offense. Hacking will result in an immediate removal from Chaos and a live server suspension. GMs will use discretion on determining what is bug abuse. GM abuse will result in immediate suspension of the account.
Rules are subject to change depending on user experience and at the discretion of the developers.
Chaos Points and other Details
Entering the Chaos Server:
For each character that leaves Valinor you must have purchased 4 Entry Tickets ($1 total) on the account. Once off of Valinor you will receive a Chaos Fragment item that is marked No Drop and Blessed in your backpack. It does not track Chaos points, but it allows you to view your points and use them.
If your Chaos Fragment becomes destroyed, you can get a new one from any Lotorian Knight.
Who Can Gain Chaos Points:
Each character (not on Valinor) will collect points from creatures killed (Note: This is per character not account totals). Awards will be based off of characters with the most points, not the account with the most points.
How to Gain Chaos Points:
If the creature you are killing gives you overall experience (not just skill or bonus experience) you will gain Chaos Points. Points are based on a formula that takes into account the creature’s attack and defense statistics, level, and hit points. A difficult creature at level 45 may give more points than an easier creature at level 55 or 60, depending on the stats of each creature. If you are in a party, the points are divided based on the creature’s “hate” list. If two parties are fighting for the same creature, the party with most hate will get all of the points.
***IF you are killed by another player, you will lose 5% of your total points to that player.
NOTE: There is an hour cooldown on victims losing points again (not on gaining).
Example: FujiQ (who has 100 chaos points) is killed by Zarquon (who has 100 chaos points). FujiQ will have 95 chaos points and Zarquon will have 105 chaos points and he sleeps on the couch tonight. Point values below 1 will not be counted.
How to Check/Use Chaos Points: Click on the Chaos Fragment in your backpack or bank. It will prompt you to use, explain, or check Chaos Points. You may use your points if you wish or save them. Note that using them will reduce your total points which could impact your placement on the leaderboards.
Currently the options for using Chaos Points are as follows:
- Form a guild (100,000 points), Teleport (5000 points each time), Repair All Gear (500 points each time).
- Teleport options: Chlera, Hothbra, Desprail, Dunmarrow. Teleport works like a Soulstone in how long it takes; if you are attacked while teleporting you will be interrupted.
- Repair gear will repair everything equipped to full health (Note: It will not restore max health of an item that has been degraded, only current durability).
Also note:
- Party following is disabled
- Any repeatable quest is disabled: Chalice Quests, Taskmasters, City/Patron quests, Lotorian Knight quests (Note: You can pledge to one of the starting cities Krog/Whisperdale/Silvest by talking to the Steward of that City, near its spawn gate).
- Factions & faction dungeons disabled.
- Feats are disabled.
- Paid content (Broken Finger Dungeon and Minotaur Island) disabled (Note: Broken Finger above ground still accessible).
- LSP will be enabled for this first Chaos server.
A limited Token Shop is available and subject to change. Token trading is allowed. Items purchased/used on Chaos are not transferrable to Heroes or Legends unless you place in the top 5. If you purchase but do not use it will be available on live.
